Jose Baca moved with his wife and four children from Albuquerque to Los Alamos, NM in April of 1944. While at Los Alamos, Jose worked as a carpenter and machinist.
Ernest O. Lawrence (1901-1958) was an American scientist and 1939 recipient of the Nobel Prize in Physics for his invention of the cyclotron.
