Staff Sergeant Edward F. O’Mara enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1942. Because of a blood condition, Army officials determined that he was not fit for combat duty.
William “Willy” Higinbotham (1910-1994) was an American physicist. During the war, Higinbotham worked at Los Alamos as leader of the Electronics Group in the Weapon Physics Division.
W. Watson worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
