Warren Best served as a sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron.
Elmer began working with the Manhattan Project in 1941. He was one of the first people to arrive at Oak Ridge and experienced first-hand some of the difficulties there with cyclotrons and isotope separation.
Arnold E. Sleipnes served as a techical sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 Top Secret.
H. C. Young worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
