National Museum of Nuclear Science & History

Warren Sheehan joined Mound Laboratory in April 1956. He spent the first half of his career in health physics, or radiation safety, where he developed a new methodology for determining the amount of plutonium in urine. Sheehan replaced long-time Mound employee Mary Lou Curtis when she retired, and joined the Nuclear Operations Group.
