William T. Allman, Jr. was born in Richmond, Virginia on December 26, 1917. He joined the army before Pearl Harbor, in an attempt to finish his military service before returning to school.
Attended the University of Dayton.
Turpeinen worked at the 200 East Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
