Martha Zukas was a nurse at Oak Ridge and Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project. One of nine children, Zukas grew up in Ellwood City, PA.
Henry Barwick worked as a plumber, pipefitter, and steamfitter during the building of the Y-12 plant at Oak Ridge.
