Wray B. Garn was born on January 4, 1916 in Yakima, Washington. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, and briefly worked as an electrical engineer for the Westinghouse Corporation.
Lorraine Golden (Heller) Crawford was a research assistant in the Chemistry Division of the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
M. N. Andrews worked for the J.A. Jones Construction Company.
D. J. McKinzie worked for the Kellex Corporation at the K-25 Plant.
