Paul Vinther arrived in Hanford in 1950 where he worked as a physicist and reactor operator. Vinther worked alongside DuPont and observed first hand DuPont's safety philosophy as well as many of the safety measures put in place to protect workers at the plant.
Olga (Giacchetti) Fineman was a technical assistant in the Chemistry Division of the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory during the Manhattan Project.

Brooks worked at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project.
