During WWII, Dr. Arthur Sucsy worked as a chemist on the Y-12 Plant at Oak Ridge, TN. Dr. Sucsy worked with a team of scientists responsible for examining the physical and chemical properties of uranium.
John M. “Jack” Jamison Jr. graduated from Grove City College with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering in June 1944.
Edward K. Buckley served as a staff sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the radar operator aboard the Great Artiste during the Hiroshima mission.
M. R. Nason worked for the Union Carbide & Carbon Corporation.
