Julian N. Bernacchi had three main assignments in the Manhattan Project. The most significant was as the Security Officer of Dr.
Jerry Saucier came to Hanford from Lowell, Massachusetts in 1943. Originally an inspector in charge of maintaining the barracks, he later became an operator at various Hanford reactors, including B Reactor.
Hartley Rowe was an American industrial engineer. Rowe worked on the Panama Canal; for Lockwood Greene, an engineering firm; and for the United Fruit Company, where he rose to become vice president.
C. M. Nelson worked for Clinton Laboratories at the X-10 Reactor.
