National Museum of Nuclear Science & History

Winston Dabney served in the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers and worked on the Manhattan Project from 1941 until 1945 while he was stationed at Los Alamos. During his time there, he also met his wife, Jean Dabney, who was a member of the Womens’ Army Corps. Dabney worked for the Los Alamos National Laboratory for thirty-four years.
