Harold Argo was a physicist. He worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory beginning in 1944. He was married to physicist Mary Argo. Harold and Mary were students of Edward Teller, and followed him to Los Alamos to work on the Manhattan Project. They followed him to Los Alamos in 1944 to work on the Manhattan Project. They worked in the Theoretical Group under Teller, conducting research on developing a fusion weapon.
Argo received his BA from Whitman College, a MA from George Washington University, and his PhD from the University of Chicago.
