Frank M. Briese served as a master sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the flight engineer of the B-29 Full House, which served as a weather reconnaissance plane on the Hiroshima bombing mission, and the backup strike plane on Iwo Jima on the Nagasaki mission.
Vanstrum began working on the Manhattan Project soon after receiving his engineering degree from the University of Minnesota.
Beverly Jackson Agnew (1919-2011) was a Manhattan Project veteran and wife of Harold Agnew, the third director of the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory.
