Bardolph Storaasli

Bardolf Storaasli was an electrical engineer working for the Allis-Chalmers Company in West Allis, Wisconsin from 1937 to 1945. Storaasli had earned an E.E. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1937 and assisted in the design and construction of large electrical transformers needed by the different Manhattan Project sites. He also helped construct the powerful magnets needed for the electromagnetic uranium separation process. Both projects required Storaasli to travel to the different Manhattan project locations, including the University of California, Berkeley and Los Alamos.
