William T. Kelley was drafted in 1942 into the Army and was assigned to the Corps of Engineers’ Manhattan District as part of the counterintelligence element of the project.
George P. Hammons served as a corporal in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 Up An’ Atom.
John Dillon worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
Leon Love was a metallurgist for the Cook Electronic Company in Chicago, IL, and worked under contract with the Manhattan Engineer District.
