General Lyle Edward “Skip” Seeman was a United States Army Corps of Engineers Officer. He was also a Manhattan Engineering District Special Assistant to General Groves at Los Alamos On May 3, 1945 Col Seeman was appointed by General Leslie Groves to be his Corps of Engineers liaison at Los Alamos.
Jacob W. Cox was born in Pittsburgh PA. on September 27, 1913. He graduated from Carnegie Institute of Technology on June 8, 1936 with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Edwin Roberts Russell (1913-1996) was an African American chemist who worked on the Manhattan Project at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory.
