Raycliffe C. Davis was a graduate of Central College in Pella, Iowa. He joined the Army while living in Cedar Rapids, IA, and was assigned with Special Engineering Detachment in Oak Ridge, TN in April 1944.
Dan Millard was a high school student in Oak Ridge, TN in 1943. The size of the school expanded from 65 to 1200 students due to the influx of workers for the Manhatan Project.
