John Arthur "Jack" Robinson was a machinist and instrument maker at the Clinton Engineering Works in Oak Ridge, Tennesse in 1943.
Peter Newport Bragg, Jr. served as a civilian engineer working for the U.S. Navy beginning in 1944. A brilliant chemical engineer, he volunteered for a dangerous assignment while employed by the U.
He attended California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo and University of California Berkeley.
