John “Jack” Carleton Healey, a colonel in the U.S. Air Force, participated in the Manhattan Project as part of General Groves’ staff in Washington, DC.
William T. Kelley was drafted in 1942 into the Army and was assigned to the Corps of Engineers’ Manhattan District as part of the counterintelligence element of the project.
Attended the University of Connecticut.
Henry Fritz was a chemist in the Special Engineering Detachment assigned to the K-25 Plant in Oak Ridge, Tennesee.
