Claude H. Belcher

Manhattan Project Veteran

Belcher went with several other men from the Muskogee, Oklahoma Fire Department, drove to Hanford, Washington in a 1933 Model A Ford. He served from 1943 to 1945, nad was proud of his work during this time. Belcher was promoted to Fire Chief at a powder plant in Kentucky and was there for a short time until the war ended, before finishing his service.
