Clinton B. Gass was a G.I. at Los Alamos who worked in the Special Engineer Detachment unit under the Theoretical Physics Division, headed by Dr.
Gillen T. Nicely served as a sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the tail gunner on the Straight Flush during the Hiroshima mission.
Warren H. Burgus was a research assistant in the Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) at the University of Chicago during the Manhattan Project.
Peggy Robins worked for the United States Engineer District Office.
