Lt. Col. James C. Stowers was an engineer in the Army Corps of Engineers and became the unit chief for the K-25 Gaseous Diffusion Plant.
Murray Peshkin (1925-2017) was an American physicist. Peshkin was recruited by the Army to work at Los Alamos during World War II.
