Arthur Compton (1892-1962) was an American physicist and winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics. A top administrator and advisor during the Manhattan Project, Compton played a key role in the making of the atomic bomb.
Raycliffe C. Davis was a graduate of Central College in Pella, Iowa. He joined the Army while living in Cedar Rapids, IA, and was assigned with Special Engineering Detachment in Oak Ridge, TN in April 1944.
T. Edmonds worked at the 200 West Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
