Laverne Bloom worked as a Military Policeman from 1945-1946 in Hanford, Washington. While not on guard duty, Bloom often cooked for his troop and occasionally made meals for the director of the Manhattan Project, General Leslie Groves.
John W. Porter served as a lieutenant colonel in the 390th Air Service Group.
Evelyn Ellingson arrived in Oak Ridge in early 1943 when many of the site’s facilities were still being constructed.
