William “Willy” Higinbotham (1910-1994) was an American physicist. During the war, Higinbotham worked at Los Alamos as leader of the Electronics Group in the Weapon Physics Division.
Norman Harry Nachtrieb was an American chemist who worked on the Manhattan Project at the University of Chicago and Los Alamos.
Sir Samuel Curran (1912-1998) was a British physicist. Curran was born in Ballymena, Ireland. In his early years, Curran studied mathematics and physics at Glasgow University.
