Francis McHale was a security and safety man, a civilian, with the Corps of Engineers. He came to Hanford from the Pennsylvania Ordnance Works to set up fire and safety and police protection for the Manhattan Engineer District.
Carolyn Stelzman worked at the K-25 Plant in Oak Ridge as an operator and leak-detector. She also lived and raised her children in Oak Ridge.
Hinginio A. Baca served as a private first class in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 Big Stink, and he and his crew were later reassigned to Luke the Spook.
Robert Rumer worked for the United States Engineer District Office.
