Franklin B. Wimer served as a second lieutenant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the navigator regularly assigned to the B-29 Next Objective.
Carroll “Red” Gordon (1919-2008) was a machinist at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project. Gordon was born in Topeka, Kansas on May 15, 1919.
Louis Henry Hempelmann (1914-1993) was Director of the Health Group at the Los Alamos site of the Manhattan Project.
