Sarah Bailey was very young when she went to work at the K-25 plant in Oak Ridge. She was employed by Carbide & Carbon Chemicals Corporation, a contractor in the gaseous diffusion operation, in 1945.
John Geffel worked at Oak Ridge as the Prime Building Contractor for Construction of the Oak Ridge facilities.
Jane Uffelman, previously Jane Warren was the daughter of Colonel Stafford Warren, medical director of the Manhattan Project.
