Frederick Ashworth (1912 – 2005) was a Vice Admiral in the US Navy. Ashworth’s work on the Manhattan Project began in 1944.
Clyde Stanley Shields was born on December 28, 1918 in Wichita, Kansas. After graduating from Mitchell High School in South Dakota, in May of 1936, Shields enlisted in the South Dakota National Guard.
Stanley C. Apgar served in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron.
W. M. England worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
