Jose Baca moved with his wife and four children from Albuquerque to Los Alamos, NM in April of 1944. While at Los Alamos, Jose worked as a carpenter and machinist. Jose’s youngest son, Trinidad, was born at Los Alamos in July of 1944, while another son, Joe, returned to Los Alamos several years later and worked as a chemical plant operator and furniture mover. Jose died in New Mexico in 1963.
