Paul Vinther arrived in Hanford in 1950 where he worked as a physicist and reactor operator. Vinther worked alongside DuPont and observed first hand DuPont's safety philosophy as well as many of the safety measures put in place to protect workers at the plant.
Jules Guéron was a French chemist and atomic scientist, who helped develop atomic energy in France. Guéron was born in Tunis on June 2, 1907.
