Robert Lyste Thornton was a Canadian-American physicist who oversaw the constuction and operation of the Beta calutron electromagnetic separation Plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee during the Manhattan Project.
Dr. Karl Larsen worked at Massachusetts Institute of Technology during the Manahattan Project. While there, he conducted heavy-water research by spectrum analysis, which was one of the prerequisites to the early atomic bombs.
F. C. Legler worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
