Before the war, Reynolds worked closely with Ernest Lawrence planning and developing the cyclotrons at the University of California at Berkeley, as well as working in the radiation lab at there.
Vanstrum began working on the Manhattan Project soon after receiving his engineering degree from the University of Minnesota.
Viola Lockhart “Vi” Warren (1896-1968) was a writer and historian who lived at Oak Ridge during the Manhattan Project.
