National Museum of Nuclear Science & History

Margaret Ramsey Keck (1923-2016) was an American physicist.

Soon after she graduated in 1945 from the University of Rochester with a degree in physics, Keck was hired by the Manhattan Project to work at Los Alamos. She played an integral role in taking photomicrographs of the bomb’s detonator in order to screen for discrepancies.
