Eric Jette (1897-1963) was an American metallurgist. He was a professor of metallurgy at Columbia University School of Mines before being recruited for the Manhattan Project.
Edward Shapiro was an American scientist and Manhattan Project veteran. After receiving a Ph.D. from Purdue University, Shapiro worked as a research associate for the Manhattan Project at the Metallurgical Laboratory in Chicago and at Oak Ridge.
Russell E. Gackenbach served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron and in the 509th Composite Group.
