Percy Phillips served in the Special Engineer Detatchment (SED) at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project.
Frank K. Wey, Jr. served as a 2nd lieutenant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the bombardier on the Straight Flush during the Hiroshima mission.
Dr. Lewis Preston arrived in Oak Ridge in 1944. A recent graduate of the Baylor University College of Medicine, he joined the Army Medical Corps.
Luin W. Hough was a photographer at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
