Technical Sergeant Anna Kissel was born on February 15, 1916, in Meriden, Connecticut, and grew up in New York out on Long Island in the small town of Westhampton.
Leon Cooper served as a 2nd lieutenant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the bombardier regularly assigned to the B-29 Next Objective.
L. F. Hemphill worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
