Barney J. O’Keefe served in the military as an ensign during the war. He was a member of Project Alberta, the team that transported and assembled the two atomic bombs preceeding the August 1945 bombing missions on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Calvin S. Shepherd worked on the Manhattan Project at Los Alamos, NM and the Trinity Site.
Avery W. Rogers worked for J. A. Jones Construction Co., Inc. during the Manhattan Project.
J. E. Sampson worked for the United States Engineer District Office.
