David Dow was a lawyer. He served as administrative assistant to J. Robert Oppenheimer. He was in charge of non-technical activities at Los Alamos and the Compagna Hill monitoring site, 20 miles from the Trinity test.
Pauline McGrath was a secretary at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
