Mary P. Frankel was one of the “human computers” at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project. In the spring of 1943, Frankel and her husband, Stan, an American physicist who later became a computer scientist, arrived at Los Alamos.
Edward Berger worked for the Kellex Corporation at the K-25 Plant.
Spofford G. English was an American chemist at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) and Oak Ridge during the Manhattan Project.
Willis Fred Greene worked at the Y-12 Plant in Oak Ridge, TN during the Manhattan Project.
