Meyer Steinberg is a chemical engineer and a veteran of the Special Engineer Detachment. After graduating from Cooper Union College with a degree in chemical engineering, Steinberg was drafted and placed in the Special Engineer Detachment at Oak Ridge.
Lillian Guadagna was a technician at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
