Menges was an Area Engineer and Area Supervisor at the Hanford Engineer Works. He was in the US Navy (USNR) until June of 1943 when he was injured in an explosion on his destroyer.
Elwood Kenneth Colbert was born on February 9, 1932 in Johnstown, PA. In 1943, Colbert graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
